The Valley of the Temples has been designated a UNESCO World Heritage Site and is a must-see for lovers of history and archaeology.

The Gastronomy

In addition to the Valley of the Temples, Agrigento boasts a fascinating historic center, characterized by winding alleyways, picturesque courtyards, stately palaces, medieval churches, and architectural treasures that tell the story of the history and cultural influences that have succeeded one another over the centuries. A walk through Agrigento's historic center will take you to discover places such as the Church of San Domenico, the Cathedral of San Gerlando, the Monastery of the Holy Spirit, and the Clock Palace. In addition, you can enjoy delicious traditional Sicilian sweets in local cafes.
